Requiem for a Made Man

"Oswalda Cobblepot, the Legitimate Businesswoman proprietor of the Iceberg Lounge, recently learned that her chief Made Man.....and sometimes Boy Toy.....has betrayed her by passing information to the Maroni family, tearfully decides to grant him the Final Death, after first granting him a final Little Death in their last tryst...."

I'm putting a 'Mature' label on this mainly because of the sex that's being implied, although if you look closely you can see nothing (not even Oswalda's nipples 😅)

See my blog for a 'reverse angle' view to see the 'action', as it were 😋

Another image of the gender flipped version of "Penguin" from 'Batman: Caped Crusader", although this image was inspired by the Max show "The Penguin", so some SPOILERS for that show follow.

In that show, Oswald Cobb (not Cobblepot, for some reason), climbs the ladder of the Criminal Underworld, and we are along to watch his rise.

He befriends a kid who was trying to steal the rims off his car, and this guy kind of becomes Cobb's "Robin", and truthfully only real friend.

So, Of Course, when all is said and done and Oz (as they called him) has won, he decided to choke Vic (the kids name) to death, mainly because he fears that what he had done to others (stabbed them in the back to get power) could happen to him as well, all the while telling him "You're a good kid"......sob.....😨😰

I will admit I wasn't surprised by this kid's death. I mean, the show was essentially "The Suprano's" set in the DC Universe (although absolutely no mention of Batman was ever made outside of news reports in the first episode). He had 'Red Shirt' written all over him. There was one moment where I thought he was going to be killed (he made a mistake), but Penguin made him dig his own grave to 'teach him a lesson' to not fuck up again.

Also, because this is a Superhero Universe, there is a chance the kid could come back. If it were left to me, I would have Ra's Al Ghul, who has been watching the whole time, get the kid's body and 'resurrect' him in a Lazarus Pit, and this kid becomes the 'Red Hood', who goes on a Vengeance spree against the mobs, particularly Penguin 😉

It was really a good show, with an excellent performance by Colin Farrell, under tons of makeup, as Penguin (which people only called him as an insult, due to his size and a bad leg giving him a waddling walk).

I'm surprised I liked it, as I have given up 'Dark and Gritty' TV lately, thanks to "Walking Dead" and "Game of Thrones" (among other things).

A 'Fanboy Pairing' I would love to see: a 'Multiverse Meeting' between Penguin, Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Netflix Version), and either the Joaquin Phoenix or Heath Ledger versions of "Joker" 😄
