Again, not truly a Halloween related image, but it is my take on a 'Classic Movie Monster': A female version of the Predator from the movie series of the same name, having conquered, but not yet killed, some 'Space Marine', and is now deciding what she should do with her new 'Trophy' 😋
I'll probably follow this up with at least one 'naughty' image, either right before or right after Halloween.
Boring Composition Notes: The 'base' body for the Predator (or Yautja, as the species is called in the 'Expanded Universe') comes from a producer known as SquarePeg3D.
It did come with its own separate "Predator Head" figure to replace the G8 Female head, but for my own tastes I didn't like its look.
I have several versions of the Predator (for the old Poser models Michael 3&4, and one for an almost unknown model called simply HIM). All of them, though, copy the look of the Predator from the movies.
I agree with some other fan artists in that the Female Predator's face should be softer, and not quite as fierce, which is why, in all my other takes on the character, I have instead used a 'Predator Hybrid': an otherwise human, but still a bit monstrous, face, with the Predator 'Mouth Flaps' on the side.
I'll probably end up doing the same for this character when/if I have her take off the mask.
On the subject of the Mask: Another producer by the name of Summoner has made several Predator specific props, many of which I have picked up. Some of the best are a number of different 'Predator Masks', of which this is one. I used my poor skills in photoshop to try to make the eyes glow, but I don't completely understand the texture map for the mask, so only the outline of the eyes glowed, which is good enough.
The rest of her outfit is a 'kitbash' of several 'sci-fi Armor' outfits, although the Green Armor bits are from the Michael 4 version, converted to the G8 Female, as well as the 'Shoulder Blaster' and "Lance" (the Claw Gauntlet by Summoner as well). The Chest Piece (or should I say CHEST Piece!! 😅) is an 'armored' version of the top that my rendition of Princess Attea wears (when she's wearing anything 😋)
This is an idea I may return to from time to time, even after Halloween.
