Won't have to change Blogs after all!! ^_^

It looks like after user backlash that Google won't be 'deleting' Adult Content blogs after all ^_^
Blogger Content Update

So I won't be changing blogs (would hate to have lost years worth of content here), although I may still make a 'backup' blog just in case (something tells me they will try again soon).

Heh. After they sent that Ominous Warning Email to each of us, I wonder where my Oops Maybe Not Email got lost? I only found out about this when I opened my blogspot dashboard (to redirect to the wordpress blog I installed under my own domain) and saw your post.

Staying on blogger will save me some hassle with links and such-- however, like you, I don't entirely trust Google's retraction, especially with its wishy-washy open-ended wording.

We can wait and see, I guess. But I'm just as glad to have an alternative ready to go at a moment's notice.

To Gnabbist: Yeah, they didn't seem to eager to let us know that they reversed their decision (maybe they were hoping that many of us would still self-delete our own blogs without knowing any better?).

To Topkat: Its good to know I won't have to be moving, but I could still see Google trying some other tactic (right now I've read that they are only going to apply the rule to blogs that contain 'commercial' adult content. I should have no worries since I don't make any money off my blog, or the images posted here ^_^)
