Well, I did get a 'hand me down' video card from a friend that is supposed to handle detail better, but lately it hasn't been performing to spec.
Sometimes it will do a render at 'final' resolution with no problem, sometimes it won't render at all (like the Cyber Angels pic, where I had to reduce the detail to render, although its less complex than this one :-/ ).
