Poser Update

If anyone out there cares, here is an 'update' on my situation 9_9

Well, Poser is still semi 'dead' (the program itself is still on a seperate hard drive, but as i said before most of the stuff I was using recently still needs to be reinstalled).

Still don't know what the problem is/was with my main C drive; but every time I reinstalled the OS on it, about three days later it gave me the 'blue screen of death' on each reboot attempt.

I'm now using a smaller drive that works just fine as my main drive, and the previous drive solely for storage.

I've got about 30% of the old files restored, and I'll probably do a test render or two next week sometime.

On other 'news', with "Captain America" coming out next week, I've pulled out my old PS2 (since my XBox also burned out recently, dammit!!!).  I'm playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and this time I'm going to keep playing until I finish it, I promise :-)

One final thing, on my 'cynical' side (maybe due in part to the death of poser):  Has anyone out there ever seen the movie "Idiocracy" by Mike Judge (creator of "King of the Hill" and "Beavis and Butthead", ironically)?

Its an interesting comedy set in a Post Apocalyptic future ruled by, well idiots ^_^.  The first 10 minutes of the movie are the best, and seem to describe the stuff I'm dealing with perfectly :-):
Idiocracy opening: Part 1
Idiocracy opening: Part 2

Nice to have some news, i hope everything will end up right for you!

When you finish Ultimate Alliance try Ultimate Aliiance 2 who is a good sequel and is based on the Civil War story arc.

I just finished Red Dead Redemption and i think i will start a new playthrough in Dragon Age Origins(for the third time).

Good luck Chup ^^

Again, thanks for the interest ^_^

I would like to play either Dragon Age myself as well, since it was made by Bioware I doubt I'll be dissapointed (although as with the upcoming Mass Effect 3 I'll have to wait until I get a new X-Box to play either one).

I'll definately be able to do some sort of render by this upcoming weekend.

Glad to see you back up again.

I think that providers need to make communication with the person
on the site (you, in this case)
much much easier. Some might be insulted by a flashing red 'Respond Here' button, but it really helps to make it VERY easy to find. As easy, say, as finding your paser art.-:^)
