Rainbow Harpy

As usual, after a 'NC-17' series, I do a few 'pin-ups'.

In this case a Harpy, but unlike the ones of myth this one is brightly colored and of a good alignment.

But what happens here??? I see a big difference in the quality setting... If I remember right, you can set the quality before saving the picture - am I right? This one here has only 70% estimating..

Well, if by quality you refer to 'resolution':

The final resolution of the image can be changed before render. I tend to use 'standard' settings ranging from "Draft" to "Final", with six steps in between.

I couldn't tell you the exact 'dpi' settings and such of these resolutions without looking them up though, and most of the time I render at "Final" resolution.

Sometimes, though, my system absolutely refuses to render at "Final" unless I turn off shadows or such, and sometimes even then I have to step back down to get the image to render.

This one, and the previous two, were at "Final" resolution. Oftentimes, though, the quality of the image depends upon the detail of the skin textures (and textures overall), so that might have something to do with it.
