I really enjoyed the series (or at least the original trilogy and the "Time of the Twins" follow up (after that they ran the name into the ground).
In retrospect, though, I feel kind bad about liking it so much, because there are heavy similarities between this series and the classic "Lord of the Rings" trilogy (Sturm Brightblade/Alhana Starbreeze = Aragorn/Arwen; Fizban = Gandalf, and others I'm too lazy to think of now ^_^).
And I have yet to read the LotR series, which argueably all modern fantasy novels are in some way based on :-/
